This year’s theme is From Bricks to Bytes? We will be looking at the changes staff, students and infrastructure are making in the 21st century as we move from sandstone buildings and face to face lectures to something new and challenging.

The conference is promising to be very exciting this year. A great theme and we have two excellent keynote speakers, Professor Jan Herrington and Professor Gilly Salmon. Professor Herrington is focusing her research on authentic and mobile learning and is the Association for Educational Communication and Technology (AECT) Outstanding Book of the Year Award winner for her book “A guide to Authentic e-Learning”. Professor Salmon is internationally renowned for her significant contributions to online education, including research, innovation, program design, teaching methods and the use of new technologies. Her book “E-moderating: the key to learning & teaching online” is currently in its third edition.

You can register for the conference at http://herga13.eventbrite.com and submit your papers, panel suggestions and workshop proposals to https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=herga2013
